And I don't mean "real" as in synthetic!
So I'm a 24 year old professional male looking for a great best friend, and maybe it'll spark into something. . . I guess I should say a little bit about me? Okay time to remember effective writing from University. . ... Ok, unfortunately that class was at 8AM and I never went. So bare with me:
I'm well travelled, well spoken, well educated (on paper >_>), and have a ridiculous sense of humor. I'm told I can make anyone laugh. My humor is a mix of sarcasm and just plain quick wit. I was born and raised in Canada but have been travelling the globe for a bit.
My specs are: 6'2", brown skinned, black hair, brown eyes, and average build. Since apparently we pick our mates based on specifications like a microwave or television, I thought it important to put it in this. I also come with several colors of clothing so you can color coordinate me to your handbag or vehicle. (If you can't tell I'm being sarcastic you should probably select the ad below me that Is looking for a 420 hookup or something equally as irrelevant in this section of CL).
I've lately found myself with a career (who knew?) and the few years that lead me here have kind of taken a toll on my social circle. So I'm looking for non single-serving friends (if you get that reference we will probably be best friends forever).
I like to think I'm a pretty nice guy. I treat people well and expect people to treat me the same. I am loyal, caring and fun. I'm reliable, stable and not a crack head (yup, I'm a catch!).
I like random road trips, video games, love music (everything from alternative to rock and rap), pubs, pool, poker, going out and seeing movies, hitting Kensington or Eau Claire, etc. I also like the gym, go about 4 times a week.
Geeky fact: My favorite authors include Seneca, Plato, Aristotle and Socrates.
Normal Fact: I've never played World of Warcraft and while have nothing against it, regularly make fun of my friends who ditch me to "raid."
I don't really have specs of who I am looking for. Race, age and religion mean nothing to me. I used to have a list. Realized that I wasn't shopping for a new car, so I'm open to pretty much everything. It's what is on the inside that matters. Your pic gets mine =)
Hopefully you should be able to hold a conversation, have a good sense of humor, disease free, etc. Please also don't reply if you are serious addicted to a substance. I mean, drinking sometimes is one thing, but booking time around the bar's hours is kinda extreme.
