This may sound odd, but I'm essentially looking for a girl to converse with around my age. Preferably one who doesn't do drugs or drink as I don't and can elaborate more on why I don't if we meet. We can start with emails, sharing a little about ourselves, and if we have some common ground to go on then meet for coffee (would prefer you to be in the North York area, but I do got my post-secondary metropass so I can technically be anywhere lol). I'm giving this a go because while I do have a few close male friends, I have no female friends and haven't met anyone through any of the societies i've joined at my university that i'd care to meet with again. I don't feel I'm as good at conversing with girls as I'd like to be, and meeting someone whose both entertaining and enjoys my company would mean a lot.
To provide just a short blurb about me, I'm very much into Jungian psychology, the spiritual beliefs of all colours and creeds, computer gaming (i'm a heavy gamer but i don't expect you to be), and just about every tv show that's ever gained any notoriety outside of the genre of reality tv (this includes Being Erica, Battlestar Galactica, Arrested Development, Heroes, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and countless others, i just thought that'd give a feel for the breadth of my interests). If you mention a tv show I haven't seen in our emails I won't end up messaging you back until I've gotten a few episodes in. Oh and I'm pretty much at the point where I'm forgetting movies and re-watching them not figuring out that I've seen the movie till halfway through.
Preferably english is your first language, as I'm fairly articulate, and as I said we have to have some common ground. looks don't matter to me. Also preferably your in a place where your pretty anti-social too, and are looking to spend a little more time with people than you have been (why else would one come to craigslist?... unless they want a 420 hook-up or a BJ i guess) . I posted a face pic on the assumption that that will garner more responses than not.
I'm hoping if the conversation is good that we make a regular evening of it, meeting either a weeknight that's free for both of us, or a weekend. If i'm not chilling with one of my few friends, I'm computer gaming, so I end up having a lot of free nights, outside of classes.
