That's pretty much what most people here seem to want. That's not to say I wouldn't be adverse to a hookup....but if said person in said hookup expected me to want to date them after??? NOT gonna happen. I was in a 3-yr relationship that started off that way and ended it at the first of this year.
And for those who I'd think of responding to but don't.....usually there's a list of caveats on my end
They're looking for some "brokeback mountain"-themed relationship (i.e. married for married)
They're looking for someone younger, despite being fairly close to my age
While they claim to be "drug free" they're "420 friendly"-I don't use the stuff, I just don't respond to that either and "live and let live"
They're gym-rats looking for the same. I understand that and respect it, too. I just don't have the ability to get back to my gym as of yet.
They're non-smokers looking for the same. Which I respect, however I do admittely still smoke like a chimney
They're into the club scene-which I'm not, as I'm not a drinker
They live too far out from where I'm located-namely within the city boundaries of Boston, and I don't have my own wheels..YET

I don't know-at my age, I think it just might be best for me to give up on the dating/ltr scene. I've had 'em......made my mistakes; hopefully learned from said mistakes and now time to get my house in order, as it were, and try to be the best uncle to my four nieces/nephews that I can be.
