I don't do a lot of dating or hook-up much because I'd mostly rather be reading, listening to or playing music, exercising or writing. However, I have decided to get back out there recently and find a woman to hang out with. I'm pretty casual about relationships but open to almost anything, including a long-term relationship. I just want to meet a nice, smart, fun woman to spend time with. About myself: I am 6'1" and stocky, used to be a powerlifter and am getting back into shape now. I love music more than anything else...my favorite band ever is Sonic Youth. I play a little guitar...mostly harsh noise though. I read quite a bit...mostly science, philosophy, psychology, and poetry but lately I have been reading a lot of rock n' roll and indie music histories. I have a good day job in communications and am building a business on the side, which keeps me pretty busy. During the year I like to travel around the country and see bands I like...right now I am planning on going to New York in the fall for All Tomorrow's Parties to see Iggy and the Stooges, Mudhoney, F**k Buttons, Sonic Youth, Breeders, among others. Last year I saw Bob Dylan, Pixies, Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr., Neko Case, Dirty Projectors, and more. I am a vegetarian working on going vegan, and non-religious and liberal. I am a social drinker and 420 friendly.
I am a very unique person and not only expect to meet someone very different from myself, but welcome the experience. I'm not going to state my preferences on what you look like or what you're into, because it doesn't matter that much as long as you try to take good care of your self and be a good person.
