This is not how it works in the movies--putting an ad up and being direct that you are looking for something more serious, more long term. In the movies it happens with a chance encounter. The two characters grabbing for the same book. Or one of their dogs jumping up on the other's new jacket or something. So maybe I'm trying too hard. But I think there's a good chunk of guys in this city--guys that I wouldn't ordinarily meet at Boxxes--who might be interested in something more loving than just a random hookup. Something more permanent. A new best friend.
I'm looking for someone who can balance a weekend of drinking heavily, and 420, and dancing 'till four in the morning with a week of work or maybe going to school. Someone who's passionate about their future. Someone who's excited to be fulfilling themselves. Someone who realizes that the world is better when you don't have to go at it alone.
